Services
Surveys of older people have shown that most wish to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. Active Care supports that right to remain at home and offers the care required to allow this to happen. We also recognise that for some who have had a lifetime of independence it is difficult to accept new faces in your own home. We aim to offer our services in as gentle and unobtrusive a manner as possible.
Active Care provides a flexible and responsive service. We will treat you as an individual and will tailor your care package to suit your needs, whether on a short term or long term basis. Our services are available from 1 hour to 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. We also offer an emergency on call service.
A suitably qualified member of our staff will meet with you to discuss your needs and develop a care plan which best suits you. All our services are underpinned by the National Care Standards. To ensure the service meets the needs of the user, we monitor our delivery of care on a regular basis. We also carry out annual customer satisfaction surveys.

* Companionship and socialising. * 24 hour service including sleepovers and waking night shifts. * Home from hospital care and support. * Temporary care packages to cover for family holidays. * Light housework.

Active Care provides support and care to all adults with a wide variety of care needs. These include: frail elderly, people with dementia, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, visual or hearing impairment, brain injury, mental health problems, and those in need of palliative care.
